In spring 2021, I completed my Master's of Business Analytics at Tulane University. Prior to that, I completed my undergraduate degree at Tulane University, where I double-majored in computer science and finance. I am seeking a position in data science or software engineering. I have completed internships in relation to my field of study over the past few summers and have received excellent reviews.
During my first internship at Dstillery, an ad-tech company in New York City, I built a visual display for campaigns useful to clients and campaign managers. I led this project and coordinated with different teams at the Company. In my second internship at HolistiCyber, a cybersecurity firm in New York City, I created several valuable tools for the Company particularly using VBA and SQL. I developed the automated generation of formatted client reports in Microsoft Word, created a database in MSSQL designed to store reports from thousands of customers and vendors, and constructed a dashboard using Power BI to illustrate various analyses from my database. I have enjoyed these experiences and the firms have appreciated my contribution, my expertise, my ability to serve as a positive member of the team, and my ability to be self-driven and engage with senior professionals both in the Firm and with clients.
I have developed expertise in Python, R, SQL, and VBA, and also have experience with numerous other environments. My education and experience suggest that I possess the skill sets, passion, and drive necessary to succeed as a data scientist or software engineer.
